OUR PARISH VISION

SUNDAY MASSES: 6.30pm(Saturday) - Vigil Mass - First Mass of Sunday
09.30am, 11.30am, and 5.00pm
WEEKDAY MASSES: Monday...........9.30 am
Thursday...............9.30 am and 7.30 pm
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament:
Sunday: 8.00am - 9.00am
Monday to Thursday: 8.25am to 9.25am
Friday: 8.00am to 8.55am
Thursday & Friday only: 10.00am to 9.00pm in the Baptistry
Saturday 11.30am to 12.30pm
Sacrament of Reconciliation/Confession:
Saturday 5:30 to 6:15pm ; Sunday 4:00 to 4:45pm or by appointment
Please check the Weekly Newsletter for any alterations to the above times and especially
if there is a Holy Day of Obligation or Bank Holiday.
If you would like to arrange for a Mass to be offered please contact the parish secretary.
Being quite a large parish, we receive many requests, so if you require a specific date, it would be
helpful if you could make your request well in advance.
Donations for Masses are always welcome but are not essential.

Getting to English Martyrs:-
Arriving by Train at>
Reading General Station>
Leave the station on the South Side and
proceed on foot along Station Road to Friar Street.
Go to Bus Stop (FE) and board a No.33 -
operated by Reading Buses - and alight at the
Waverley Road stop.
You will see English Martyrs church opposite
on the corner of Liebenrood Road.
Reading West station>.
Exit up walkway onto Tilehurst road.
Turn right and walk along Tilehurst Road
for approximately 15 minutes.
Church will be on your left.

Route 33 operating between Tilehurst and Reading Station is the only route that passes by our church and runs
along the Tilehurst Road. Board/Alight at Waverley Road regardless of direction you are travelling from.

By Own Transport>
A Car Park is available and can be accessed from both Liebenrood Road and Tilehurt Road.
A Bicycle rack is available and is located to the right of the colonnade entrance.
