CAFOD stands for the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development.

We are an international development charity and the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales whose global mission is to bring relief

to those in poverty, facing injustice or in need of emergency aid.

If you are interested in helping CAFOD and would like more information

please contact  the parish office.

Alternatively go to the website at cafod.org.uk.

Every six months or so there is a Portmouth Diocese CAFOD Supporters'

Meeting which is usually held  on a Saturday morning between 10.00 and 13.30.  Details will be advertised in the parish newsletter and can also be found on the CAFOD Portsmouth blog page.  You can access this by clicking on blog

These meetings are well attended, have an excellent reputation and new faces

are made most welcome.

“The earth, our home is beginning to look more

like an immense pile of filth”   Pope Francis.

In his encyclical Laudato Si’ Care for our Common Home '  Pope Francis urges us to hear the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor and to take action.

Climate Change is the biggest threat to our planet

and we are calling on everyone to tell their MPs that the time to act is NOW!

Please join us on Wednesday 26th June for the

Time is Now Lobby of Parliament.
